Qstn for @arun kumar : Is the practice of reporting Na and K under KFT right? Asking as then we will need to modify tables for Data Logger. Current one excludes any provision for Na and K in KFT
IMO there are part of CBC, though both are indication of impaired glomerular filteration.
Higher Na serum level also indicates kidney stone, hypertension.
Higher K level also indicates kidney disease, tissue destruction or due to certain medication like NSAID, ACE inhibitor. Angiotensin 2 blockers or even with certain diuretics.
So levels of both are related to renal issue and can be kept under KFT.

His water intake is low didn't feels thirsty.
Had only 1 or one half liter water per day.
Many times I tell him take above 3 liters.
Is this higher levels are not taken sufficient water ?
