I have been watching the news.Irma has hit Barbuda. She in my prayers. This will pass. Florida is in its path next. This is a nasty category 4 hurricane.
It is category 5, already eaten up few islands - Barbuda, St Martin and Anguilla so far. Barbuda 95% destroyed and declared inhabitable. It is just 40 miles away from Antigua, it was a miraculous escape for Antiguan's and my daughter.
Thank GOD.

People in Antigua told us they did not get hit by any storm for last 20 years.
20 days after my daughter joined a Med school, they got hit by it.
Last two days was her test through the third one - Irma, Jose and now Maria.
Maria, at the moment bashing Puerto Rico, watch out CNN if you have.

I was preveliged to visit Puerto Rico
with a 2 weeks stay in Holiday Inn located on a hill top from where I could view the wonderful city and the sea.
@LGF & singh_66, glad to note that your wards are safe.
God is omnipresent and they will stay protected.

I just remembered that the place I had stayed was San Juan in Puerto Rico
and it is this place where the devestating storm has hit hard, this time.
