I stopped taking cetapin 500xr mg in mornings..My BS readings were below 100 after breakfast..My BS readings after lunch are between 140-150 after having 2Chapathis or Rava idly..I need to increase dose probably..Shall I take cetapin 750 xr mg instead of 500 xr mg?

    Don't abruptly stop meds.
Pls note that MF will never cause hypo, so don't worry.
PPBS 140 -145 is high, so you should start cetapin XR.
As far dosage is concern, I always recommend to start with higher dose and as BS level come down, dosage can be lowered.
So take Cetapin XR 1 gm at bed and at BF.
    Post results after 10 days.

MF delays absorption of carbs and control PPBS.
But MF is also good to reduce IR.
MF reduces liver dump in morning.
So MF is not only for PPBS.
And it will never put you in hypo.
Reduce the dose after PPBS under 120 and FBS sub 90.
