    @arun kumar is recovering from Dengue and so might take some time to respond.

    MPO, don't stop garlic. Continue. You'll see the benefits in the long run.
    Check what happens if you don't take BreakFast at all and instead directly take lunch at your regular lunch time or prepone your lunch.
    After that, if your meals timings don't allow, start taking early BF.
    Was trying to search for threads in DLife which explain about Increase in Cholesterol with LCHF & Weight Loss in the initial stages. Time constraint, could not do so. Here's one from an external source.
    I lost weight and my cholesterol . . . went up! | Dr. William Davis
    MPO :
    If you are under stress and depend on your Doctor, start off Statins . But also keep a close watch on your Lipids & as soon as you find them under control, start reducing & then taking them on alternate days to total elimination.
    You can google for Statins & read about how they do more harm than good in the long run.

    @Ajayghosh TS
    First, don't panic, everybody will not respond to LCHF diet in short time. There are members here who got results within week and some got result even after 3 months (including me).
    Many times result depends on age, metabolism and your conviction.
    Do you remember what was your total cholesterole at the time of CABG?
    IMO TC is not the problem, but it is LDL.
    And if you are losing wt. you lipids will bound to shoot up, this is body's reaction.
    I would like to have your complete diet right from morning to night and also tell me what is carbs, protein and fat intake and cooking medium.
    Since, I am still not fully recovered, so it might take 1 or 2 days to respond, kindly bear with me.

    Hi @arun kumar
    Sorry for disturbing you again. Wish a speedy recovery from your present ailments.

    Before CABG I was under statin & total cholesterol was between 170 and 200.

    Let me put my diet details:
    Morning: Start with a glass of water with 5-pieces of garlic. Then a tea with milk and stevia. After 1:30 - 2:00 hours, take the BF.
    BF includes 2 boiled eggs and a small cup of veg. salad, which is a mix of cucumber, onion, tomato, capsicum, grated coconut, green grains, peanuts,
    ground nuts, olive oil, lime drops etc. + 1or2 small pieces of papaya or guava
    Lunch: A cup of above salad mix and 2 or 3 pieces of Fish/Chicken fried in coconut oil + a small portion of koly flower/mushroom fry.
    Evening: A tea with milk and stevia with a few almond + walnut + cashew
    Dinner (b/w 9:00 & 10:00PM): 2-egg bullseye/omelette in butter or coconut oil + a coffee with coconut milk, 1 tsp VCO and stevia.
    OK, this much.
    Take your own time to reply.

    @Ajayghosh TS thats too many meals for too long a time. Try to keep your eating window within 12 hours first and 8 hours later. Else avoid milk in the tea in the morning and BS remove the fruits. i.e tomato & papaya/guava and peanuts/groundnuts. Lunch is good. Evening avoid cashew and milk if possible. Dinner can you eat earlier. Else its okay. See if you can start with a black tea or tea with coconut milk + stevia and breakfast around 8-9am and dinner by 8pm with these small changes.

    @Ajayghosh TS
    Though your diet is good but you are eating too much.
    Did you check BS before and after each meal?
    Do you count carbs, protein and fat of your meal?
    If you take above 2, I am sure you will fix your menu which will not spike BS.
    CABG does not disallow you to take saturated fats / mono unsaturated fat.
    As @Vinay Raj told you don't take milk and any fruits, till your BS level controlled.
    Keep your PPBS below 120.

    Thank you @arun kumar
    My PPBS is always within limit ranging from 94 to 110.
    Only the morning sugar continue to increase up to BF; 2hrs. after BF, BS come down drastically.
    What is this phenomenon?
    Finding very difficult to count C, P & F; any simple method available?
    Normally I am taking very low quantity meal each time; so no additional intake is there.
    In CABG case, I am afraid of my high LDL.
    Anyway I will try to follow your suggestions.
    Thanks

    @Ajayghosh TS
    Ppbs comes under control quickly and that's the most imp thing
    Fasting takes some times.. need time to heal the liver which is usually messed up in diabetics
    Don't bother about LDL.
    Inflammatory makers like HsCRP and homocystein has to be lower
    Infact TG and HDL are more important markers

    As of now just ensure lower carbs per day
    Protein to be around 0.75 gms per kg body wt and fats to be 100 to 150 gms per day

    Use an app called fatsecret in android mobiles
