Okay... ASP my weight is almost reasonable to my height (65 kgs- 174 cms)... So, if I get used to LCHF what happens... ? Whether I am going to lose weight and what about my cholesterol... is it going to get increase, since my BS is getting under control... Taking peanuts and some fruits like watermelon in breakfast. I am afraid of taking more fatty food, as my job is to work sitting in the chair for 10 to 11 hours a day. YOUR GUIDE LINES ARE VERY VALUABLE AND I AM VERY MUCH THANKFUL TO YOU...

I do accept your statement. But, what happens when we go for a FF.... it may reduce our weight further more... is it not.....?

Your weight will remain stable between 60-65 kgs...

Cholesterol will get better, i.e. HDL should increase so that Triglycerides/HDL ratio will go down...

50 g peanuts per day is okay...better to avoid fruits...
On low-carb, no need to worry about fats, but don't have them with sugars/high-carb foods...
Also incorporate some 30 minute walking or light exercise...

Very tough question. many of us are trying to improve it including myself. I'm currently at around +/-40 level.

HDL is supposed to increase from consumption of nuts and doing regular exercise.

ASP you advised me to take Gluformin xl 500 mg two times in place Gluformin G1 250mg.... is it not bigger dose comparing to 250mg....? Based on your words, I understood that only MF is not that much effective... okay ... but DOUBLE....? Any way I will take Gluformin XL 500 mg... two times and Glimer 1g for one time in a day...... is it okay....?

I think Gluformin XL 500 mg i.e. metformin 500 mg as advised by @arun kumar is okay......it is a tolerable dose and does not cause discomfort in tummy...

It is tolerable... but why... is 250mg not enough in my case... as I was taking 250mg Gluformin G1 earlier....

The earlier BS numbers were mostly due to glimepiride in Gluformin G1.
You can start with either metformin 250 mg or 500 mg ...test regularly before and after meals and the FBS...
If 250 mg metformin works, then great...else will have to shift to 500 mg metformin twice a day

No, even SR version will have required serum only up to 10 hrs.
If FBS is out of range then he has to take at night also.

IMO if taken with BF it will cover all meals for that day. If taken after lunch then there will be negligible/nil effect for next day's BF.
