Doesn't some get digested lower down to release SCFA for great colon health?
    https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2015/09/150929070122.htm

Actually, per Professor Tim Noakes, this is where LCHF is different from Atkins as LCHF we are eating vegetables etc whereas Atkins is more on animal protein based diet. I haven't really gone in detail of Atkin's diet so relying on what Prof Tim Noakes has said.

Perhaps, the 2X of fiber comes as a result of SCFA?

For calorie counting yes but we are more concerned about glucose. :)
It will vary individually depending upon type of fiber and gut flora health.
Jenny Ruhl has mentioned about SCFA in her book about low carb diet.

I think butyrate is not used for energy other than gut so why 2 calories per gm are calculated.

As per Stephan Guyenet butyrate controls inflammation and energy metabolism.

Friends , while referring to this app I see that a 6" roti has 15 gms carbs. My Roti is generally very thin. So is it ok to take 3 rotis in a day , provided my total carbs content is 60-70 gms.

Buy a kitchen weighing scale from online.
    Weigh your roti.
If roti weight is 40g, then assume carb content to be at least 25g.
    Why not stop completely?
