With this effort and regimen its a matter of time. You are doing great. I was the same way and my guess is my obesity led me to diabetes way before it was diagnosed and IR was perhaps a decade or so earlier.

It is SR version once a day 9:00 PM at night. My doctor had prescribed Melmet brand but now I am planning to try Cetapin once the current batch is over.

    RBS 8-10-2017 8-15 PM - 4 hour after last meal - 96 mg/DL

Have further lowered the amount of carb and from the smell of the urine I think I am in ketosis since last 3 days. Not much difference in energy level but heart beat is up by 10-15 beats per minute. Generally it would hover around 66 bmp and now it is around 76-80. Blood pressure is also 10 points over general reading but still below 120/80.Google search shows that for some people during adaptation heart rate does go up.

I will be observing my weekly 36 hour fast tomorrow. Lets see if BS goes lower during fast. For me even after 36-40 hour fasts it does not go below 90.

9-10-2017 10:00 PM 30 hour fasting - 83 mg/dl Haven't had such low reading in a long long time. Once I hit 77 but then I was on insulin and Janumet. My morning readings are generally 5 points more than my bed time reading. Will take one more reading before breaking fast.

12-10-2017 9:20 PM RBS 4.5 hour last meal- 77 mg/dl. This is officially my lowest reading ever. I couldn't believe my eyes, so I tested again with another finger and got the same reading.

Last year on this date I was diagnosed with diabetes and with RBS of 450 mg/dl. I was sitting in despair, confused and kicking myself for getting into this situation.

I was on LCHF for last 6-7 months and the readings were around 100-110 FBS and slightly less than 120 PP. But since I have gone on keto diet in last 10 days i.e. carbs < 25 gm/day have the readings dramatically improved. On my 36 hour fast on Monday the needle finally touched 81 and today it is all time low. I give all the credit to DLife and I can't thank Anup, Arun, Vinay and all of you enough for your guidance and encouragement. God bless you all!.
